South Philly Bar Crawl
Tonight we are going to the South Philly Bar Crawl and its going to be awesome! It’s $12 for a beer at 5 bars: P.O.P.E., 1601, SPTR, The Dive, and Ray’s Happy Birthday Bar. Heres the map
I’m excited to check out P.O.P.E because it’s the only one out of those bars that I haven’t been to. 1601, The Dive and SPTR all have an excellent selection of bottled beers and rotating taps including some of our favorite local breweries. Ray’s which only has yueng ling and pbr on tap does have a few decent bottles but its more about the ambiance (or lack there of) then the beer selection at Ray’s.
I hope to see you there because It’s sure to be a drunken romp down Passyunk.

I just checked in with the SPTR. The bar crawl starts there at 6. I asked if they were going to give us better beer and they said they weren’t sure what Ray’s was having but they have plenty of better beer
